• DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

  “Xin chào” - Welcome to Vietnam. Upon arrival Noi Bai International airport, meet Vietsense Travel guide then transfer to hotel in city for check in. (Check in time: 14.00. Early check in at surcharge). 

  Located at the center of Red River Delta and with more than one thousand years’ history, Hanoi became the capital of Vietnam. Visiting Hanoi, you will not only witness a busy developing city through modern architects and busy streets but also learn more about history, culture, nature and friendly local people

• DAY 2: HANOI – BA BE NATIONAL PARK – BOAT TRIP TO PUONG CAVE AND DAU DANG WATERFALL

  Today, you will begin your journey to discover the colorful northeast of Vietnam. Early depart from your hotel to Ba Be National Park, en route you will stop by the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam Ethnic Groups in Thai Nguyen City for an overview of the many minority groups in Vietnam.

  Lunch en route before arrive at Boc Luom Pier where you will hop on your boat and take a boat trip to Puong Cave and Dau Dang Waterfall. Relax and enjoy the fresh air right at the waterfall before coming back to the boat and continue the trip to Pac Ngoi village where you will spend your night at a homestay.

• DAY 3: HUA MA CAVE AND SILVER WATERFALL – CAO BANG

  Breakfast at homestay then take a short transfer to Hua Ma Cave. Hua Ma Cave offers trademark underground limestone formations in the midst of Ba Be National Park. A short walk up the mountain and you will enter a wonderland of stalagmites and stalactites. From here you will visit Silver Falls, a 40m falls on the edge of the park which offers a great chance to cool off and enjoy the breeze. Back to Pac Ngoi for lunch.

  Afternoon, say goodbye to the host and we continue our journey to Cao Bang province and you will admire the lively and colorful scenery where the paddy fields, streams, rivers and mountain ranges seem to harmonize into a beautiful picture.

• DAY 4: CAO BANG – BAN GIOC WATERFALL – NGUOM NGAO CAVE – CAO BANG

  Located almost 90km from Cao Bang City and at border between Vietnam and China, Ban Giooc Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in the north of Vietnam. Along the way to the waterfall, you will enjoy stunning views of karst landscapes and picturesque hill tribe villages.

  On the way back to the city, you will visit Nguom Ngao Cave, the longest and most beautiful cave in Northern Vietnam. With more than 900 of its total 2,144 metres in length, you will be dazzled by sparkling seven-coloured stalactites hanging from high above and startlingly life-like rock formations.

• DAY 5: CAO BANG – PAC BO HISTORIAL RELIC – BAO LAC MARKET – MEO VAC

  Check out at hotel and transfer to Meo Vac in Ha Giang Province. En route, we will visit Pac Bo Historical Relic. This scenic spot near the Chinese border is highly significant for Vietnamese people, as the cave sheltered their beloved leader Ho Chi Minh from 1941-45 upon his return from China.

  Keep riding to Bao Lac and if your date drop on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th day of lunar calendar, we will visit Bao Lac Market and join the Tay, H'mong, Dao, San Chi and Black Lo Lo ethnic minorities in one of the most authentic tribal markets in Northeast Vietnam.

  Reaching Meo Vac in the afternoon, check in hotel and relax.

• DAY 6: MEO VAC – MA PI LENG PASS - LUNG CU FLAG POLE – H’MONG KING PALACE - DONG VAN KARST GEOPARK – QUAN BA

  Today you will drive onto one of the most beautiful pass in Vietnam – Ma Pi Leng Pass. It is also the most spectacular sightseeing spot both in terms of landscape and history on the road from Meo Vac to Dong Van. 

  Drive straight to Lung Co Mountain “the forehead of the motherland” and marks the northernmost point of Vietnam and visit Lung Cu Flagpole.

  The next stop is Vuong family house, once home to the man considered the King of the H’Mong ethnic people in the Dong Van plateau area. The architecture of the building bears highly artistic value and clearly reflects ancient Chinese architecture. 

  Reaching Dong Van Town at noon, having lunch at local restaurant and strolling around the Dong Van ancient town to see the former market and two villages which have long made up the heart of Dong Van Commune. 

  Get on your car again for transfer to Quan Ba Town and check in.

• DAY 7: QUAN BA HEAVEN GATE – HA GIANG – PANHOU ECO LODGE

  Start the day with a transfer to Quan Ba Heaven Gate and scramble to the top of Fairy Mountain. From here, you can see the famous Twin Mountains and overlook the small towns in the valley spread out at your feet.

  Continue driving to Panhou Lodge for check in and have lunch.

  Free time at leisure to walking around Panhou Village and chatting with local people that you will meet on road.

• DAY 8: PANHOU – HOANG SU PHI - BAC HA – SAPA

  Say goodbye to friendly staff at Panhou Eco Lodge and start driving to Sapa town via Hoang Su Phi where you could admire terraced field from the road above and take snapshots when the rice fields start to become ripe in early autumn. 

  Arrive Bac Ha at around noon, lunch at local restaurant then visit Hoang A Tuong Palace – a mixed Asian - European architecture where used to be the most powerful house in the northwest region.

  The journey continue with a drive on a scenic route along zigzag roads running past small villages and the characteristic regional markets of ethnic minorities to Sapa town.

  Arrive Sapa early evening, check in your hotel. Leisure and dinner on your own.

• DAY 9: ETHNIC MINORITY VILLAGE VISIT

  Free at leisure in the morning to explore the town on your own.

  Afternoon, have a relaxing hike into the valley to Cat Cat Village, where the Black Hmong have been settled for centuries. Enjoy stunning views along the way of rice fields and the Hoang Lien Son Range. On reaching the end of the village, you will view a waterfall and an old hydropower station built by the French.

  Back to hotel in the afternoon and enjoy 2nd night at Sapa town.

• DAY 10: SAPA – HANOI – CITY TOUR

  Breakfast at hotel, check out and start driving to Hanoi. The transfer time is around 5.5-6 hours on mountainous road and brand new Lao Cai – Hanoi Highway.

  Reaching Hanoi at around noon, check in your hotel then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

  Afternoon, take a walking tour around the Old Quarter, visit an ancient house, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a Water Puppet Show.

  Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

• DAY 11: HANOI – HALONG – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE

  Breakfast at hotel then departure to Halong, drive across the Red River Delta and reach the cruise lounge before noon. Have a short time to relax before embark at the cruise. Take your key from the crew and enjoy relaxing time in your own cabin or at sundeck before having lunch at the restaurant.

  After lunch, continue your journey to discover Halong Bay – the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Vietnam. Each cruise will have different schedule for your trip  and you may visit a beautiful cave, have some swimming or other activities like sunset party, cooking demonstration etc before dinner.

  After dinner is your free time. You may choose to enjoy fresh air on the sundeck or playing board games or try your luck with squid fishing.

• DAY 12: HALONG BAY – HANOI

  If you don’t mind, please try to wake up early and join the Taichi class with the crew and enjoy watching sunrise on the bay. Take part in other activities of the 2nd day while the boat cruise back to the Habour.

  Farewell with the crew and Halong. Meet your guide and driver again for transfer back to hotel in Hanoi for check in. 

  Rest of the day is your free day. Overnight at hotel.

• DAY 13: HANOI DEPARTURE

  Day at leisure until pick up time for transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to next destination.
