  • Huong Pagoda is a complex of dozens of temples and shrines which was built in 17th century at Huong Son Commune – the “Buddha heaven” as belief of Vietnamese people. This is also the most famous Buddhist pilgrimage site with the longest festival last for more than 2 months yearly.

    08.00am: Leaving your hotel and take 2-hours’ drive to Perfume Pagoda complex. Upon arrival Duc Pier, get on your boat and enjoy a leisure boat trip which is paddled by ladies, pass rice paddies and jagged limestone karsts. Arrive at the entrance gate, get off the boat and be ready for a short trekking up hundreds of stone steps to get to the network of caves that makes up the Perfume Pagoda with the final stop is Huong Pagoda inside the Huong Tich Cave. Because of the location, Huong Pagoda also names Trong Pagoda or Inside Pagoda.
    Getting-out-off the cave, you will trek down of the mountain or you could take the cable instead (cost on your own). Have a break and lunch at a local restaurant.
    Afternoon, visit Thien Tru Pagoda and enjoy some free time before going back to the pier to get on your boat back to Duc Pier.
    Meet your driver again and drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends at hotel.

    Ich bin selbe Vietnamesen, und auch sehr oft nach Vietnam reisen. Aber erstes Mal ein Tour von Reisefirma buchen. Erstaunlich, es war viel besser als erwartet.
