  • Located at Son Tay town, 50km from Hanoi, Duong Lam is an ancient village with houses built of unprocessed laterite blocks. Wandering or cycling around the village, you will have a chance not only to contemplate the architecture of ancient houses but also chatting with local people

    Leaving Hanoi at around 9 and heading to the west, you will reach Duong Lam village after about 1 hour driving. Get ready with your camera and hop-on your bike for cycling to Mong Phu Communal House which features intricately detailed decorations and the nearby original village entrance gate where you could see the real traditional village gate in Northern Vietnam. Continue pedaling to visit Giang Van Minh worship-house, and later, stop at an ancient house to learn about the Vietnamese traditional housing style. 
    Take a leisure ride through tiny ancient alleys before having lunch at local house with Vietnamese local food.
    Say goodbye to the host, take a short walk to Mia Pagoda which was built in 15th century along with Ngo Quyen temples and Phung Hung Temples, where dedicated to the two National heroes of Vietnam. 
    Drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends at hotel.

    Ich bin selbe Vietnamesen, und auch sehr oft nach Vietnam reisen. Aber erstes Mal ein Tour von Reisefirma buchen. Erstaunlich, es war viel besser als erwartet.
