  • Northwest Vietnam, with its rocky, cone-like mountains, high vistas and deep valleys, encompasses some of the most extreme geography in the country – if not all of Southeast Asia. It consists of four provinces: Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, and Hoa Binh, Lao Cai, Yen Bai are usually seen as part of the region. Travelling to the more remote parts of the region takes time and effort, but it won't let you be disappointed because of its wild charm and impressive beauty.

    • DAY 01: HANOI – MOC CHAU – SON LA

      05h30 - 06h00: Our bus and tour guide pick-up at appointment place in the Old Quarter, departure to Hoa Binh province. You have short break in Xuan Mai town for your own breakfast (excluded).
      Across the craggy pass, you’ll reach Thung Khe, Thung Nhuoi and have chance to enjoy roasted corns, baked eggs… in the cold weather. On the way, you can see a panorama of Mai Chau valley.
      Arrive in Moc Chau Highland and visit Pine forest of Ang Ethnic Village, visit Green Tea Hill and take pictures with green tea rows and learn about the lives of local people. Have lunch and take a short rest.
      After that, get on bus to Son La City. Visit Son La Museum and Son La Prison which was regarded as one of the most famous places in French colonization period, with a no less notorious name “Hell on Earth” to describe the frightened brutality of French colonialists to Vietnamese prisoners here
      Check-in hotel. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Son La.

    • DAY 02: SON LA – MUONG PHANG – DIEN BIEN

      Breakfast and check-out.
      Get over Pha Din Pass, you’ll reach to Dien Bien Phu City. Check in hotel and have lunch 
      Afternoon: Visit the underground hideout of French General De Castries, Muong Thanh historical bridge and Nam Rom river, Dien Bien Phu Museum. Visit and take photos at Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument, visit A1 Cemetery and A1 Hill Battlefield.
      Have dinner with special local dishes.
      Join in traditional musical performance of Thai Ethnic (trip excluded). You can share the show with other tourists. Overnight in Dien Bien
      Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

    • DAY 03: DIEN BIEN – LAI CHAU – SAPA

      Get up early and enjoy your breakfast in hotel. Check-out.
      It’s time to say goodbye Dien Bien Phu City. Get on bus and depart to Sapa town. Along the journey, you across the Hoang Lien Son range. Stop on the bridge over the Nam Na River and the tour guide will remind you about the city which was submerged under the Lai Chau hydroelectric dam.
      Get over O Quy Ho Pass - one of the four magnificent passes in Vietnam. Arrive in Sapa Town. Check in hotel and have dinner.
      After that, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Overnight at hotel in Sapa
      Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

    • DAY 04: HAM RONG/FANSIPAN – MU CANG CHAI

      After breakfast, you have 2 options:
      - Option 1: Tranfer to Fansipan cable car station. Lying on an altitude of 3,143m above sea level, the peak of Fansipan is dubbed the “Roof of Indochina”. Sun, clouds, wind and mountain seem to consist of a harmonious and colorful chorus. Gazing down the fairy scenery at sunrise as well as sunset would always be an unbeatable experience for those who love nature (Cable car is excluded)
      - Option 2: explore Ham Rong Mountain with unspoiled and spectacular scenery. Here, you can enjoy many kinds of colorful flowers in Indochinese Orchid Garden. Passing two Heaven Gates, visitors will reach the top of Ham Rong which is called Pitch Cloud and have a panoramic view of Sapa (Entrance fee is excluded)
      Back to Sapa for lunch and check-out.
      Head to Mu Cang Chai where have beautiful terraced fields that was recognized as heritage of terraced fields. Along the way, you’ll see Hmong and Dzao ethnic minority groups, take photos in Khau Pha Pass… Arrival in Mu Cang Chai at late afternoon.
      Have dinner in homestay. Leisure time you may take a strolling around to see the normal life of local villagers.
      Overnight in Mu Cang Chai.
      Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

    • DAY 05: MU CANG CHAI - HANOI

      Get up early and enjoy the fresh air here. After breakfast, you will depart for:
      + Visiting & taking photograph Che Cu Nha Rice Terrace Field of Hmong people.
      + Visiting & taking photograph Che Xu Phinh, La Phan Tan – it was recognized the national landscape of Vietnam in 2007.
      + Visit Tu Le in which has spectacular paddy fields winding along the stream
      Have lunch in local restaurant. Then return to Hanoi. On the way, stop to buy souvenirs and special local foods.
      Arrive in Hanoi. The trip is over and goodbye. See you in another one.

    Ich bin selbe Vietnamesen, und auch sehr oft nach Vietnam reisen. Aber erstes Mal ein Tour von Reisefirma buchen. Erstaunlich, es war viel besser als erwartet. Zuerst, wir können richtig gut essen, zweite, wir bleiben immer fit mit sehr gute Zeitplannung. Ich muss noch mal Danke sagen und bis bald Vietsensetravel.
