  • Located 320km northwest of Hanoi, Son La is the third largest province of Vietnam. The province makes a good stop for travelers on the route from Hanoi to Dien Bien Phu. Eighty percent of the province's natural area is covered with mountains, making it a good place for trekking and sightseeing.
    Dien Bien is a province in the north-eastern Vietnam. The capital of the province is Dien Bien Phu, which is renowned for its long and victorious history against French colonists on May 7th 1954. Along with significant historical relics, Dien Bien possesses amazing mountainous scenery that tourists should not miss.

    • DAY 01: HANOI – MOC CHAU – SƠN LA

      06h00: Our bus and tour guide pick-up at appointment place in the Old Quarter, departure to Hoa Binh province. You have short break in Xuan Mai town for your own breakfast (excluded).
      Across the craggy pass, you’ll reach Thung Khe, Thung Nhuoi and have chance to enjoy roasted corns, baked eggs… in the cold weather. On the way, you can see a panorama of Mai Chau valley.
      Arrive in Moc Chau Highland. Have lunch at restaurant and take a short rest.
      After that, get on bus to Son La City. Visit Son La Museum and Son La Prison which was regarded as one of the most famous places in French colonization period, with a no less notorious name “Hell on Earth” to describe the frightened brutality of French colonialists to Vietnamese prisoners here.
      Check-in hotel. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Son La.

    • DAY 02: SON LA – MUONG PHANG – DIEN BIEN

      Breakfast and check-out.
      Get over Pha Din Pass, you’ll visit Muong Phang where Vietnamese army stationed in the historical Dien Bien Phu campaign. The relic still preserves the working tunnels and leaf huts of General Vo Nguyen Giap and General Hoang Van Thai.
      Have lunch in Muong Phang. After a short rest, you get on bus to Dien Bien City.
      You visit the underground hideout of French General De Castries, Muong Thanh historical bridge and Nam Rom river, Dien Bien Phu Museum. Visit and take photos at Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument, visit A1 Cemetery and A1 Hill Battlefield.
      Have dinner with special local dishes.
      Join in traditional musical performance of Thai Ethnic (trip excluded). You can share the show with other tourists. Overnight in Dien Bien

    • DAY 03: DIEN BIEN - HANOI

      Get up early and enjoy your breakfast in hotel. Check-out

    Ich bin selbe Vietnamesen, und auch sehr oft nach Vietnam reisen. Aber erstes Mal ein Tour von Reisefirma buchen. Erstaunlich, es war viel besser als erwartet.
